Inspiring Motherhood Quotes That Capture the essence of Real Happiness

Motherhood is such an amazing, magical, wonderful experience that women have been talking about for centuries. Today, we have the wonderful opportunity to be mothers in more ways than ever before, thanks to new technologies, like the miracle of the Internet and cell phones. We can be moms while we travel to another country or spend time with our newborns around the world. If we are lucky enough, we may even get to be a mom while we’re still pregnant!

Being a mother is a lot of work, but it doesn’t have to be that way. There are ways to make motherhood easier, more enjoyable and less stressful. Moms need time to themselves – time to unwind, decompress and recharge. They need time to bond with their children, grandparents and other family members. And they also need time for themselves!

One of the greatest mantras I’ve heard as a mother is “You are a mother once, you are mother forever.” This is especially meaningful when we go through child birth and pregnancy, or when we find ourselves taking care of aging parents. But the truth is, motherhood is never ending. It’s a gift that we’re given, but not something we are born with or inherit. It just takes a little extra effort on our part to make motherhood the best it can be.

I’ve said it again: Never put off your kids. Kids grow up so fast! Even when you think you’re done being a mom, there’s always more to learn or accomplish. So take some time with your kids. Play, cook, do crafts, take them out to the park – whatever it takes to keep your little ones happy.

Another great quote I like to give my kids is one I often say when I’m asked what I did last week: “I gave myself time.” I really don’t think there’s anything more important than this. When you take time out for yourself, it’s easy to forget about all the other stuff going on in your life. So this is a perfect day to bond with your family.

And finally, I love this quote fromidia Ross: “What does it mean to be a good mother? That’s a question only you can answer.” This is especially true if you feel overwhelmed by the daily grind of raising children. But stay calm. You can do this. And remember – a mother is important, no matter how much you do or say.

I know this might seem corny and overly simplistic after all these lines, but I believe they are still true. So even though I don’t mention them very often (more on that another time), I believe them. Being a mother is definitely not an easy job and it takes a lot of sacrifice, hard work, and support from the whole family. But being a mother is also one of the greatest joys you could have in life, so I believe it’s worth it. So keep on doing your best at all times.

So the next time you ask the question – what does it mean to be a mother, think about the above quotes. If you need a pick me up, just bring them up to your mind during the day and see how it lights up your day. For me, motherhood is one of the greatest blessings I could have ever received. So go ahead and enjoy motherhood – it’s one of life’s greatest pleasures.

Some people talk about motherhood as if it’s some selfish, self-absorbed feeling that only women have. Well, if that’s how you feel, then by all means, feel that way! If you want to truly experience motherhood, then put aside all the selfishness and embrace the true aspects that come with it. Take time out to help the kids or take care of the home – whatever you need to do to make motherhood a rewarding experience for you. It doesn’t have to be a burden, just a real part of life.

The second quote on this page is one I actually agree with. “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy.” That’s because children are so incredibly important and if you burn yourself out by playing games all day, how can they do their school work, prepare for college, or prepare for a promotion? What would your kids do with their free time? Wouldn’t you rather be at home taking care of them? If you are a mom and you are experiencing this now, try some step-by-step exercises that will give you peace of mind – your children will thank you later.

If you don’t believe that these quotes are particularly inspiring, remember that every day brings new experiences to take into account. The next time you find yourself feeling down, think about what you’ve done today. Did you listen to the news? Did you have any family bonding time? These are all activities that can bring about new motherhood quotes for women.
